Outdoor photographic evening

Our annual outdoor evening is fast upon us.....in fact it is next monday night. Bearing in mind that we have to contend with the nuances of british weather and also wanting to do something different that avoids the formulaic, we have decided to issue a 'Still Life Challenge' to all members. Last Monday we asked attending members to organise themselves into small groups of between 2 and a maximum of 6 people. Those who were unable to attend are still welcome to form additional groups with friends at the club or join existing groups. Each group will be asked to design, photograph and present a still life based image on any subject of their choosing, using ambient light, outside light, studio light or flash. We have both rooms at the club available to us and a number of props also available to use. Please, however, do not feel constrained. Bring along your own props to photograph within your group on the night. At an appropriate moment in the evening we will ask each group to put forward a single image that will be showcased via the projector and the group will be asked to discuss their image, its inspiration, idea and execution. Please help to make the evening a success by attending and contributing your ideas and skills to help other members or to learn from other members with experience in this field.
