A Retrospective
For 50 years Howard Barlow has worked as a Photojournalist, mostly for The Guardian, The Observer,
The Telegraph, The Sunday Times and The Independent.
He has picked up numerous photographic awards including Newspaper Photographer of The Year and Industrial Photographer of the Year. He is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, and past Chairman of their Documentary and Visual Journalism Distinctions Panel.
Howard began his career photographing the bands of the 70’s and 80’s with regular publications in NME, Melody Maker and Rolling Stone Magazine. His iconic images of The Ramones, Queen, Blondie and
Iggy Pop are still regularly published around the world via Getty Images.
This is a Retrospective and he will expand on how photography has changed over his career as a photojournalist and street photographer.
