678 Media would like to invite you to our Digital Imaging Evening at 7.30pm on Tuesday 24th August 2010 at Hazel Grove Conservative Club, 15 Chester Road, Hazel Grove, Stockport SK7 5NU (Just of the A6 London Road behind American Golf)

Come and see our team who will be serving the photographic market in South Manchester and Cheshire with the latest digital photographic products. We will be demonstrating how to get the best results from your images from image enhancement, photo matching and printing results.

Industry experts will be on hand to show and explain the various processes;

Bob Campbell from onOne software

Photoshop expert with over 20 years experience will be on hand to demonstrate how to quickly and easily enhance and improve your image using the user friendly onOne software plug in.

Dave Smith from Colour Confidence
Dave will show how to ensure colour management is applied to calibrate monitor and printers correctly, what you see is what you will get! Colourmunki, Xrite and colourchecker passport will all be demonstrated and EXPLAINED!!!

Myself, Neil Ratcliffe will be there to explain the whole thing, who we are, what we’re about and show the quality of print achievable using the right paper with the right image to get the highest quality prints using Tecco Inkjet papers and profiles.

An evening with Andrew Brooks – 28th June

Just a reminder that on Monday 28th June we have what will hopefully be a very special evening with Andrew Brooks. Andrew is a local professional photographer and digital artist who was commissioned by Urbis last year to create an exhibition entitled ‘Hidden Manchester’ which as the title suggests, involved an insight into areas of the city normally not accessible to the general public. In particular, he produced a range of superb images of the (extremely dark!) hidden tunnels by merging together several hundred individual shots, each which illuminated a slightly different area of the final combined result.

Having seen Andrew’s work at Urbis last year and a sneak preview of his presentation a couple of weeks ago, I would say that this is night not to be missed.
